Regular Season Round 3: TLU/Kalev - TTU 67-68

The most exciting game of round 3 in the Alexela KML took place in Tallinn. This derby game ended with only one-point home defeat of TLU/Kalev (0-3) to TTU (3-0) 68-67 on Friday evening. Guest team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. TLU/Kalev was trailing by 12 points at halftime but managed to get 6-point lead after three quarters before a 20-13 charge of TTU, which allowed them to win the game. It was a good game for power forward Joonas Jarvelainen (202-90, agency: Octagon Europe) who saved his team from a defeat with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 15 rebounds. Sten Olmre (192-95) contributed with 20 points and 5 assists for the winners. Four TTU players scored in double figures. American power forward Josiah Heath (206-93, college: Canisius, agency: Inception Sports) answered with 12 points and 6 rebounds and Lithuania center Robertas Grabauskas (208-90, college: Northwood, agency: HMS) added 9 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for TLU/Kalev. TTU are looking forward to face Parnu (#6) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. TLU/Kalev will play against BC Rakvere and hopes to get finally their first victory.
