Regular Season Round 3: Horsholm - Bakken 87-98

The game between Top Four teams took place in Horsholm. host Horsholm (2-2) lost to Bakken (3-0) 98-87. The game was mostly controlled by Bakken. Horsholm was better in second period 30-29. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 16-of-19 charity shots (84.2 percent) during the game. Bakken forced 20 Horsholm turnovers. Power forward Asbjorn Midtgaard (209-97) came up with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 15 rebounds and the former international point guard Frederik Nielsen (179-88) added 17 points and 7 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) respectively for Horsholm in the defeat. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Bakken will play against Svendborg (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Horsholm will play against Horsens IC in Horsens and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
