Regular Season Round 3: Milano Hikkaduwa - San Vendemiano 73-47
Date: October 15, 2016
There was a surprise result when Milano Urania (1-2) smashed at home San Vendemiano (1-2) 73-47 on Saturday. Milano Urania forced 20 San Vendemiano turnovers and outrebounded them 42-23 including a 32-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great evening for forward Lorenzo Tortu (200-92, agency: Octagon Europe) who led his team to a victory scoring 18 points and 9 rebounds. Point guard Simone Ferrarese (182-87) helped adding 15 points and 5 rebounds. The best for the losing side was power forward Andrea Carlesso (202-82) with 11 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Michele Antelli (183-98) scored 8 points. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Milano Urania will face Iseo (#15) at home in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game.
