Regular Season Round 3: Valmontone - Cefalu 84-69

There was no surprise when Cefalu (0-3) was defeated on the road by Valmontone (2-1) 84-69 on Sunday. It was a great evening for point guard Francesco Guarino (182-79, agency: Octagon Europe) who led his team to a victory scoring 14 points and 6 assists. Guard Antonio De Fabritiis (189-90) helped adding 18 points and 5 rebounds. Four Valmontone players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was forward Marco Mollura (196-93) with 19 points and 7 rebounds and naturalized Argentinian point guard Emiliano Paparella (180-83, agency: Players Group) scored 14 points. Cefalu's coach Fabio Nardone tested ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Valmontone will face Scauri on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Cefalu will play against Roma Vis Nova (#14) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
