Regular Season Round 4: Prat - Burgos 65-73

There was a surprise result when twelfth ranked Burgos (2-2) won against on the road higher ranked CB Prat (3-1) 73-65 on Tuesday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But CB Prat won third quarter 22-16. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded CB Prat 40-29 including 28 on the defensive glass. It was a very good performance for Serbian center Goran Huskic (210-92, college: Howard Col., TX) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds. British swingman Morayo Soluade (196-95) contributed with 14 points for the winners. Guard Sergi Costa (189-96) replied with 11 points and 4 assists and Pep Ortega (201-84) added 9 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for CB Prat. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Burgos moved-up to seventh place, which they share with 6 other teams. Loser CB Prat dropped to the third position with one game lost. Burgos will face Castello (#12) in Castellon in the next round where they are favorite. CB Prat will play on the road against Caceres Basket (#16) and hope to win that game.
