Important game to mention about took place in Kolobrzeg. Sixth ranked Kotwica (4-1) saved a 3-point victory at home edging 8th ranked Biofarm PZN (2-3) 61-58 on Wednesday evening. Biofarm PZN was ahead by 4 points at the halftime before a 36-29 second half run of Kotwica. Biofarm PZN was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Power forward Lukasz Bodych (201-90) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds. Point guard Artur Wlodarczyk (180-96) contributed with 15 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four Kotwica players scored in double figures. Point guard Piotr Wieloch (182-94) answered with 13 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and forward Filip Struski (200-94) added 10 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Biofarm PZN. Biofarm PZN's coach Przemyslaw Szurek tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Kotwica have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to third place, which they share with 3 other teams. Biofarm PZN lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the ninth position with three games lost. They share it with GKS Tychy and Notec Inowr.. Kotwica will play against Astoria Bydg. (#14) in Bydgoszcz in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Biofarm PZN will play at home against the league's leader Sokol Lancut (#1) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
