No shocking result in a game when leader Gornik (5-0) beat 8th ranked Rawia (1-3) in Rawicz 72-60 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 41-26 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Rafal Niesobski (189-82) orchestrated the victory by scoring 17 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Point guard Rafal Glapinski (183-82) contributed with 20 points for the winners. Four Gornik players scored in double figures. Swingman Szymon Maciolek (190-91) answered with 19 points and 5 rebounds and Kacper Kuta (191-94) added 10 points in the effort for Rawia. Gornik have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain first place in Group D with 5-0 record. Rawia lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with three games lost. Gornik will face Otmuchow (#12) at home in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Rawia will play against Koscian (#5) and hope to win that game.
