Regular Season Round 3: Kolossos HH - Promitheas 76-59

There was a surprise result when Kolossos (1-2) beat Promitheas (1-2) in Rodou 76-59 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Kolossos. Promitheas was better in second period 22-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a good game for American guard Davion Berry (193-91, college: Weber St.) who led his team to a victory with 20 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. His fellow American import point guard Langston Hall (193-91, college: Mercer) contributed with 14 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Angelos Tsamis (192-81) answered with 11 points and 6 assists and Senegalese forward Mouhammad Faye (208-85, college: SMU, agency: Comsport) added 11 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Promitheas. Promitheas' coach Nikos Vetoulas tested ten players seeing no chance for a win. Kolossos will face Olympiacos in Athens in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
