Regular Season Round 4: HyPo - PeU-Basket 94-76

There was no surprise in Hyvinkaa where 11th ranked PeU-Basket (1-3) was defeated by fifth ranked HyPo (2-1) 94-76 on Sunday. The game without a history. HyPo led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Deandre Upchurch (183-91) who helped to win the game recording 55 points (!!!), 7 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals and forward Ilkka Blomqvist (196-84) who added 7 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. HyPo's coach Besim Maxhuni allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the losing side American forward Tiel Daniels (200-92, college: Colorado St., agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) responded with a double-double by scoring 39 points (!!!) and 15 rebounds and guard Juho-Kusti Rasanen (190-86) scored 10 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. HyPo maintains fifth position in Division with 2-1 record. Loser PeU-Basket dropped to the twelfth place with three games lost. HyPo will face higher ranked Espoo Basket (#3) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. PeU-Basket will play against Namika Lr (#13) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
