The most surprising game was the first loss of Sammic ISB (3-1) on the court of fifteenth ranked Albacete on Sunday night. Visitors were rolled over by Albacete 71-41. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Sammic ISB. The game without a history. Albacete led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Sammic ISB's 22. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Michael Torres (188-94) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 4 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) and American guard Kris Davis (188, college: SIU Edwardsville, agency: Pro Partner Sports Management) who added 15 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side American forward Tim Dezelski (198-90, college: Hillsdale, agency: Duran International) responded with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds and swingman Ander Garcia (194-89) scored 10 points. Sammic ISB's coach Iker Bueno gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Albacete (1-3) left bottom position moving up to eleventh place, which they share with 4 other teams. Sammic ISB at the other side keeps the second position with one game lost. They share it with 4 other teams. Albacete is looking forward to face higher ranked L'Hospitalet (#7) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Sammic ISB will play against the league's leader Cambados (#1) having rather not much hope for a victory.
