Regular Season Round 5: Stahnsdorf - Bochum 67-90

Very expected game in Stahnsdorf where 12th ranked RSV Eintracht (1-4) was crushed by eighth ranked AstroStars (3-2) 90-67 on Sunday. It was a great shooting night for AstroStars especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 57.1 percentage. American guard Clay Wilson (190-92, college: Princeton) stepped up and scored 25 points and 4 steals for the winners and center Michael Haucke (210-85) chipped in 14 points and 8 rebounds. American forward Josh Adeyeye (195-93, college: Jacksonville) responded with 24 points and the other American import forward Josh Smith (203-94, college: Clemson) scored 16 points and 8 rebounds. Four RSV Eintracht players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. AstroStars moved-up to third place in North, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser RSV Eintracht dropped to the eleventh position with four games lost. AstroStars will face Schalke (#8) at home in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. RSV Eintracht will play against Iserlohn and hope to win that game.
