Maccabi K/G was not able to use a home court advantage and was defeated by the opponent from Haifa 75-69 on Monday night. Maccabi K/G was trailing by 4 points at halftime but managed to get 1-point lead after three quarters before a 24-17 charge of Maccabi Haifa, which allowed them to win the game. They made 19-of-20 free shots (95.0 percent) during the game. It was a good game for international swingman Amit Simhon (198-89) who led his team to a victory with 12 points and 7 assists. Maccabi Haifa will face Galil Gilboa (#8) in Rosh Pina in the next round. Maccabi K/G will play at home against Maccabi Rishon (#6) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
