Not a big story in a game when 12th ranked Puerto Montt (4-5) was defeated on the road by second ranked Osorno Basquetbol (7-4) 75-63 on Wednesday. Osorno Basquetbol looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. American center Yamene Coleman (208-86, college: Troy, agency: Interperformances) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 15 rebounds for the winners and swingman Rodrigo Munoz (186-80) chipped in 14 points and 11 assists. Osorno Basquetbol's coach R Isbej used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was American power forward Mike Phillips (201-90, college: Howard) with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds and the other American import guard Louis Munks (190-90, college: Prairie View A&M) scored 13 points and 8 rebounds. Osorno Basquetbol maintains second place with 7-4 record having just three points less than leader Los Leones. Loser Puerto Montt dropped to the seventh position with five games lost. Osorno Basquetbol will face Tinguiririca S.F. (#10) in San Fernando in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Puerto Montt will play at home against the league's leader Los Leones and hope to win that game.
