Regular Season Round 3: St Chamond - Lille 78-82

Very predictable result when Lille Metropole (2-1) defeated on the road Saint Chamond (0-3) 82-78 on Friday. The guests trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 27-17 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. It was a great evening for swingman Thomas Ceci-Diop (199-92) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. American forward DeQuan Jones (203-90, college: Miami, FL) helped adding 16 points and 8 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American guard B.A. Walker (184-84, college: VCU, agency: Inception Sports) with 13 points and 6 assists and Lithuania point guard Eigirdas Zukauskas (203-92) scored 15 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Saint Chamond's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Lille Metropole will face Nantes at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Saint Chamond will play against Boulazac Basket (#12) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
