Regular Season Round 3: Le Havre - Blois 72-63

Everything went according to plan when STB Le Havre (2-1) beat at home ADA Blois (0-3) 72-63 on Friday. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But ADA Blois won fourth quarter 18-17. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded ADA Blois 46-31 including 31 on the defensive glass. It was a great evening for power forward Yannis Morin (208-93) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds. American point guard Josh Greene (183-92, college: CS Northridge) helped adding 17 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. STB Le Havre's coach Jean Manuel Sousa used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. The best for the losing side was Benjamin Monclar (188-88) with 20 points and 7 rebounds and American point guard Frank Turner (178-88, college: Canisius, agency: Inception Sports) scored 13 points and 7 assists. STB Le Havre will face Aix-Maurienne (#3) in Aix-les-Bains in the next round, which may be the game of the day. ADA Blois will play at home against Chorale de Roanne (#5) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
