A1 top team - Tresnjevka (5-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed eighth ranked Pula C.Tours (1-3) in Zagreb 84-63. The game was mostly controlled by Tresnjevka. Pula C.Tours was better in second period 20-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Tresnjevka dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Pula C.Tours' 38. They outrebounded Pula C.Tours 43-32 including 21 on the offensive glass. Tresnjevka players were unselfish on offense dishing 30 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Pula C.Tours' players. The best player for the winners was swingman Ana Lelas (183-83) who scored 18 points and 5 assists. Forward Lucija Kostic (187-0) chipped in 6 points, 12 rebounds and 7 assists. Forward Lea Miletic (183-95) produced a double-double by scoring 24 points and 14 rebounds and center Maja Ramljak (185-88) added 17 points and 10 rebounds respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Tresnjevka have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain first place with 5-0 record. Pula C.Tours lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the ninth position with three games lost. Tresnjevka's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Zagreb to the arena ZKK Medvescak.
