Regular Season Round 6: Pau-Lacq-Orthez - Orleans 95-91
Date: October 29, 2016
Very predictable result when third ranked Pau-Lacq-Orthez (5-1) defeated at home 10th ranked Entente Orleans 45 (2-4) 95-91 on Saturday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American point guard D.J. Pau-Lacq-Orthez's coach Eric Bartecheky used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was American point guard Kyle McAlarney (183-87, college: Notre Dame) with 23 points and his fellow American import forward Marcellus Sommerville (200-82, college: Bradley) scored 18 points. Four Entente Orleans 45 players scored in double figures. Pau-Lacq-Orthez have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place. Loser Entente Orleans 45 dropped to the twelfth position with four games lost. Pau-Lacq-Orthez will face Le Portel (#13) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them.
