Regular Season Round 7: KFUM Uppsala - KFUM Central 82-92

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 5th ranked KFUM Uppsala (2-3) was defeated at home by sixth ranked KFUM Central (3-3) 92-82 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by KFUM Central. KFUM Uppsala was better in second period 29-26. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. KFUM Central looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a great evening for forward Emil Haglund (201-96) who led his team to a victory scoring 34 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds. French guard Jean-Charles Coffi (190-84) helped adding 20 points and 8 rebounds. At the losing side forward Tobias Skyttevall (196-95) responded with 23 points and 6 rebounds and swingman Alan Zekovic (195-98) scored 11 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Four KFUM Uppsala players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for KFUM Central. They moved-up to fifth place. Loser KFUM Uppsala dropped to the sixth position with three games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
