Nigeria forward Jeffrey Solarin (193-92, college: Idaho St.) answered with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds and French point guard Sango Niang (183-93, college: Simon Fraser) added 13 points and 5 assists in the effort for Zamorano. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Meridiano Alicante will play against Moron (#6) in MorĂ³n de la Frontera in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Zamorano will play at home against Zornotza (#8) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
