Date: November 4, 2016
Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Grodno: Grodno-93 (#2) and Prinemanye (#5). Prinemanye was defeated at home 84-94 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Prinemanye. The game was mostly controlled by Grodno-93. Prinemanye was better in second period 15-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Grodno-93 won last quarter 23-11. They dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Prinemanye's 22 and made 23-of-26 charity shots (88.5 percent) during the game. At the losing side guard Vladislav Svakel (178-0) responded with 15 points and guard Pavel Suvorov (185-95) scored 8 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Grodno-93 have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 3-0 record behind leader COR-Borisfen, which they share with Tsmoki II. Prinemanye at the other side keeps the fifth place with three games lost. Grodno-93 will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
