Regular Season Round 8: MKS DG 2 - Wisla Krakow 71-66 OT

Date: November 6, 2016
There was no surprise when 13th ranked Wisla Krakow (1-7) lost to ninth ranked MKS DG 2 (3-4) in Dabrowa Gornicza 66-71 on Sunday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. MKS DG 2 forced 28 Wisla Krakow turnovers. Point guard Adam Skiba (182-99) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Patryk Piszczatowski (190-98) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. MKS DG 2 have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to eighth place in Group C, which they share with Przemysl. Loser Wisla Krakow keeps the thirteenth position with seven games lost. MKS DG 2 will face higher ranked Polonia Bytom (#4) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
