Not a big story in a game in Reggio Emilia where 13th ranked AV Cantu (2-4) was defeated by second ranked Grissin Bon RE (5-1) 90-77 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Grissin Bon RE. AV Cantu was better in fourth quarter 22-8. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Grissin Bon RE looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. They maintain second position with 5-1 record behind leader EA7 Armani, which they share with Scandone AV. Loser AV Cantu dropped to the tenth place with four games lost. Grissin Bon RE will face Scandone AV (#3) in Avellino in the next round, which may be the game of the day. AV Cantu will play at home against Juvecaserta (#5) and hope to win that game.
