Very expected game when 15th ranked Vanoli Cremona (1-5) was defeated at home by ninth ranked Enel Brindisi (3-3) 84-69 on Monday. Vanoli Cremona was trailing by 5 points at halftime but managed to get 3-point lead after three quarters before a 35-17 charge of Enel Brindisi, which allowed them to win the game. They also forced 21 Vanoli Cremona turnovers. Senegalese-French forward Amath M'Baye (206-89, college: Oklahoma) scored 27 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American point guard Phil Goss (188-83, college: Drexel) chipped in 11 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was American forward Tashawn Thomas (203-93, college: Oklahoma, agency: Pensack Sports) with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and naturalized Cameroonian center Paul Biligha (200-90, agency: Players Group) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 12 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Enel Brindisi moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Vanoli Cremona lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the bottom position with five games lost.
