Regular Season Round 9: Syntex Ksiezak - AZS UMCS Lbn 71-62

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Syntex Ksiezak as it allowed them to take a leadership position in Group B. Syntex Ksiezak defeated 3rd placed AZS UMCS Lbn in Lowicz 71-62. It was a great shooting night for Syntex Ksiezak especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 53.3 percentage. Forward Mariusz Wojcik (200-79) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winners and point guard Bartosz Wluczynski (176-88) chipped in 13 points and 7 assists. The best for the losing side was Sebastian Dusilo (198-92) with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 15 rebounds and power forward Mateusz Wisniewski (202-91) scored 14 points and 6 rebounds. AZS UMCS Lbn's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Syntex Ksiezak have a solid series of four victories in a row. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. AZS UMCS Lbn at the other side dropped to the fourth place with two games lost. AZS UMCS Lbn will play next round against Shmoolky W-wa trying to get back on the winning streak. Syntex Ksiezak will try to continue on its current victory against fourteenth ranked AZS PS Kielce at home.
