Important game to mention about took place in Patras. Tenth ranked Promitheas (3-3) saved a 3-point victory at home edging 8th ranked Lavrio (2-4) 64-61 on Saturday evening. Lavrio cut a 14-point halftime deficit to three at the end of the game. American guard McKenzie Moore (198-92, college: UTEP, agency: Two Points) scored 9 points and 11 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American-Bulgaria point guard Keydren Clark (180-84, college: St.Peter's) chipped in 15 points during the contest. The best for the losing side was British forward Ashley Hamilton (201-88, college: Loyola Mary, agency: Court Side) with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and American guard Brandon Young (193-91, college: De Paul) scored 17 points. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Promitheas moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Aris. Lavrio lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with four games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Promitheas will play against league's leader AEK Athens on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Lavrio will play against the league's second-placed Olympiacos (#2) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
