There was an upset when higher ranked MKS Dabrowa Gornicza (4-3) lost on the road to fifteenth ranked Stal Ostrow Wlkp. (2-5) 70-60 on Saturday. It was a good game for Vincentian center Shawn King (208-82, college: ORU, agency: Pensack Sports) who led his team to a victory with 9 points, 13 rebounds and 4 blocks. American point guard Aaron Johnson (173-88, college: UAB, agency: Two Points) contributed with 15 points and 5 assists for the winners. American Jeremiah Wilson (205-88, college: Tarleton St.) replied with 21 points and 6 rebounds and the former international Piotr Pamula (195-90) added 7 points in the effort for MKS Dabrowa Gornicza. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Stal Ostrow Wlkp. maintains fifteenth position with 2-5 record. Loser MKS Dabrowa Gornicza dropped to the fourth place with three games lost. Stal Ostrow Wlkp. will face higher ranked Energa Czarni (#13) in Slupsk in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. MKS Dabrowa Gornicza will play at home against Rosa (#4) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
