Regular Season Round 8: Castelldefels - Sitges 87-72

There was a minor upset when 8th ranked Sitges (3-4) was defeated on the road by tenth ranked Castelldefels (3-4) 87-72 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Jordi Boronat (-85) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Adria Vazquez (183-89) who added 8 points, 6 rebounds and 11 assists during the contest. Four Castelldefels players scored in double figures. Center Eduard Riu (202-82) responded with 13 points and 8 rebounds and Pau Carretero scored 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Sitges' coach Eduardo Pinero let to play ten players and allowed the starting five to rest. Castelldefels moved-up to eighth place in Group C-B, which they share with Valls Nutrion and Sitges. Sitges lost third consecutive game.
