Regular Season Round 12: Nafta-Uni. - Petrochema 83-65

No shocking result in a game in Klaipeda where sixth ranked Nafta-Uni. (9-3) defeated 12th ranked Petrochema (3-9) 83-65 on Saturday. The game without a history. Nafta-Uni. led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. The best player for the winners was forward Viktoras Chodosovskis (200-89) who scored 19 points and 7 rebounds. Guard Erikas Kubilius (194-95) chipped in 10 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Nafta-Uni. players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Tomas Milinskas (203-90) who recorded 12 points and 8 rebounds and Raimundas Zuklevicius (187-96) added 13 points respectively. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Nafta-Uni. moved-up to second place, which they share with Rasai and Perlas-MRU. Petrochema lost third consecutive game. They keep the twelfth position with nine games lost. Nafta-Uni. will face Perlas-MRU (#3) in Vilnius in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Petrochema will play at home against Delikatesas (#12) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
