Regular Season Round 8: Tromso - Asker Aliens 73-75

Important game to mention about took place in Tromso. Seventh ranked Asker Aliens (4-5) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging 9th ranked Tromso (2-8) 75-73 on Sunday evening. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Tromso won third quarter 23-18. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American point guard Nate Garth (188-89, college: UCSB) orchestrated the victory by scoring 36 points (!!!) and 5 assists. DR Congolese power forward Djo Yele (203-82) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Guard Henrik Lange (189-95) replied with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 14 rebounds, 8 assists and 8 steals and forward Anders Solem (196-92) added 21 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Tromso. Asker Aliens moved-up to sixth place. Tromso lost third consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with eight games lost. Asker Aliens will face bottom-ranked Persbraten (#10) in Oslo in the next round. Tromso will play on the road against Ammerud Bskt in Oslo and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
