There was no surprise in Logrono where 18th ranked Cocinas.com (1-8) was crushed by ninth ranked Palma (5-4) 101-70 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 15-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 101-70. Palma made 22-of-23 free shots (95.7 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was power forward Antoni Vicens (203-90) who scored 20 points and 5 rebounds (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line). Center Victor Serrano (211-89) chipped in 14 points and 9 rebounds. Five Palma players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Ukrainian power forward Volodymyr Gerun (208-94, college: Portland) who recorded 18 points and 9 rebounds and guard Alberto Ruiz de Galarreta (198-83) added 6 points and 8 rebounds respectively. Cocinas.com's coach gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Palma moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Ourense.
