No shocking result in a game when third ranked Panathinaikos (5-1) beat 8th ranked Kolossos (2-4) in Athens 80-65. The game was mostly controlled by Panathinaikos. Kolossos was better in second period 20-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 21-of-23 charity shots (91.3 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was international center Ioannis Bourousis (214-83) who scored 19 points and 8 rebounds. The former international Nikos Pappas (194-90) chipped in 12 points and 8 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international forward Giannis Georgalis (198-83) who recorded 13 points and British forward Jesse Chuku (203-93, college: Lehigh) added 12 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Panathinaikos have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 5-1 record behind leader AEK Athens. Kolossos at the other side keeps the eighth place with four games lost.
