No shocking result in a game in Barcelona where fourth ranked Barbera (5-2) won against 12th ranked Cerdalyola (1-6) 86-79 on Sunday. The hosts trailed by 4 points at the halftime before their 51-40 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Strangely Cerdalyola outrebounded Barbera 39-27 including 30 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Sergio Guardia (188-88) who helped to win the game recording 13 points and point guard Francesc Cairo (185-83) who added 16 points during the contest. Barbera's coach David Lizano allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Guard Genis Tena (186-89) responded with 22 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and swingman Eric Forne (194-88) scored 15 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Barbera and four Cerdalyola players scored in double figures. Barbera moved-up to second place in Group C-B, which they share with Palma II and Quart. Cerdalyola lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the twelfth position with six games lost.
