Regular Season Round 23: Dresden - Ehingen 65-78

No shocking result in a game when twelfth ranked Ehingen/Urspringschule (9-15) beat bottom-ranked Titans (2-22) in Dresden 78-65 on Wednesday. Ehingen/Urspringschule looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American forward Daniel Berger (203-90, college: BYU-Hawaii, agency: Three Eye Sports) orchestrated the victory by scoring 12 points and 5 rebounds. His fellow American import point guard Devon Moore (193-89, college: JMU) contributed with 10 points and 7 assists for the winners. Four Ehingen/Urspringschule players scored in double figures. American power forward Jervon Pressley (203-95, college: Hampton) answered with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 13 rebounds and 5 blocks and guard Jusuf El-Domiaty (187-90) added 21 points in the effort for Titans. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Ehingen/Urspringschule. Newly promoted Ehingen/Urspringschule maintains twelfth place with 9-15 record. Titans lost their eighth game in a row. Titans at the other side, also newcomer in the league, stay dead last with 22 lost games. Ehingen/Urspringschule will face higher ranked Uni Baskets (#11) in Paderborn in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Titans will play at home against Oettinger Rockets Gotha (#7) and hope to win that game.
