Regular Season Round 6: Evreux - Blois 77-90

An interesting game took place in Evreux where higher ranked ALM Evreux (3-3) was upset on its own court by fifteenth ranked ADA Blois (2-4) 90-77. The game was mostly controlled by ADA Blois. ALM Evreux was better in third quarter 30-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when ADA Blois won last quarter 27-15. ADA Blois outrebounded ALM Evreux 36-25 including a 31-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a good game for American point guard Frank Turner (178-88, college: Canisius, agency: Inception Sports) who led his team to a victory with 22 points and 8 assists. Benjamin Monclar (188-88) contributed with 17 points and 5 assists for the winners. Four ADA Blois players scored in double figures. ADA Blois' coach Mickael Hay allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American point guard Corin Henry (178-88, college: Tarleton St., agency: Octagon Europe) replied with 28 points and 4 assists and his fellow American import guard Caleb Walker (194-89, college: Nebraska) added 16 points in the effort for ALM Evreux. ADA Blois moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with 3 other teams. ALM Evreux at the other side dropped to the ninth position with three games lost. ADA Blois' next round opponent will be higher ranked Saint-Quentin (#8) at home and it may be quite challenging game.
