Regular Season Round 10: Stuttgart - Langen 57-87

Date: November 19, 2016
Not a big story in a game when 12th ranked Stuttgart (3-7) was outscored at home by eighth ranked TV Langen (5-5) 87-57 on Saturday. Quite impressive performance for American forward Preston Ross (198, college: Winston Salem) who helped to win the game recording 18 points. Point guard Maxim Schneider (184-92) contributed with 15 points for the winners. Forward Jonas Leidel (195-87) replied with 15 points and 5 rebounds (made all of his ten free throws !!!) and Montenegrin Milos Mandic (195-97) added 12 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Stuttgart. Five TV Langen and four Stuttgart players scored in double figures. Stuttgart's coach Domagoj Buljan gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. TV Langen maintains eighth position in South-West with 5-5 record. Loser Stuttgart dropped to the tenth place with seven games lost. TV Langen will face Saarlouis/Dillingen (#10) in the next round. Stuttgart will play against Lich II and hope to win that game.
