Regular Season Round 7: Kolossos HH - Doxa Lefkadas 77-60

Everything could happen in Rodou at the game between two tied teams. Both tenth ranked Kolossos and 9th ranked Doxa Lefkadas had identical 2-4 record. This time Kolossos used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Lefkadas 77-60 on Saturday night. The game without a history. Kolossos led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Americans were the main players on the court also this time. It was a great evening for point guard Langston Hall (193-91, college: Mercer) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 assists. Point guard Trevor Releford (183-91, college: Alabama) helped adding 11 points, 7 assists and 4 steals. Four Kolossos players scored in double figures. At the losing side guard Dezmine Wells (196-92, college: Maryland) responded with 19 points and point guard Shannon Scott (186-92, college: Ohio St.) scored 5 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Kolossos (3-4) moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Newly promoted Doxa Lefkadas dropped to the tenth position with five games lost. Kolossos will face Kymis (#8) at home in the next round. Doxa Lefkadas will play against Aris and hope to win that game.
