Rather expected game when 3rd placed Cazorla (3-4) was defeated at home by first ranked CAM E.Soler (6-1) 79-65 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by CAM E.Soler. Cazorla was better in third quarter 24-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was American guard Joe Graessle (193-92, college: Tiffin) who scored 24 points and 5 rebounds. Point guard Alvaro Garcia (185-96) chipped in 20 points. CAM E.Soler's coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to get some rest. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Vadal Faniel (201, college: Texas A&M Int.) who recorded a double-double by scoring 23 points and 18 rebounds and the other American import guard Michael Crane (190-91, college: E.Oregon) added 14 points and 6 rebounds respectively. CAM E.Soler have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain first place in Group D-A with 6-1 record. Loser Cazorla dropped to the fourth position with four games lost. CAM E.Soler will face Coin (#8) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Cazorla will play against Medacbasket (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
