There was a surprise result when fifteenth ranked Milano Urania (3-5) edged at home higher ranked Reggio Emilia (3-5) 98-95 on Saturday. Milano Urania made 25-of-32 free shots (78.1 percent) during the game. Reggio Emilia was plagued by 30 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was the former international power forward Andrea Paleari (202-81) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 16 rebounds. Forward Tommaso Ingrosso (206-92, college: W.Texas CC) chipped in 20 points and 9 rebounds. Power forward Federico Pugi (206-85) produced 31 points and 6 rebounds and guard Luca Bertolini (175-85) added 22 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) respectively for the guests. Five Milano Urania and four Reggio Emilia players scored in double figures. Milano Urania moved-up to tenth place, which they share with 11 other teams including defeated Reggio Emilia. Milano Urania will face Volpino AltoSeb. (#13) on the road in the next round.
