Regular Season Round 2: Saitama Bron. - Kanazawa Sam. 43-91

The game in Saitama supposed to be quite interesting. Kanazawa Sam. (2-0) played at the court of Saitama Broncos (0-4). Kanazawa Sam. smashed Saitama Broncos 91-43 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Kanazawa Sam.. Saitama Broncos managed to win fourth quarter 19-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Saitama Broncos to just 4 points in first quarter. Kanazawa Sam. dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Saitama Broncos' 26 and made 24-of-29 free shots (82.8 percent) during the game, while Saitama Broncos only scored five points from the stripe. American guard Brent Jennings (193-88, college: So.Poly State, agency: Interperformances) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds and center Thailand Armstrong (206-70) added 7 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Kanazawa Sam. is looking forward to face Tokyo HT at home in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Saitama Broncos will play against Otsuka A. (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
