No shocking result in a game when twelfth ranked Galil Elion (3-4) defeated on the road bottom-ranked Ironi Ramat Gan (1-6) 91-84 on Tuesday. American power forward Germain Jordan (198-86, college: Dillard) fired a double-double by scoring 27 points and 15 rebounds for the winners. His fellow American import forward Cinmeon Bowers (201-93, college: Auburn) chipped in a double-double by scoring 24 points and 15 rebounds. Four Galil Elion players scored in double figures. U.S. Virgin Islands forward Aaron Brown (196-92, college: Boston Coll.) produced 34 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds and U.S. Virgin Islands-Puerto Rican forward Ivan Aska (201-90, college: Murray St.) added 16 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Galil Elion moved-up to eighth place, which they share with 4 other teams. Ironi Ramat Gan lost fifth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with six games lost. Galil Elion will face league's second-placed Hapoel Kfar Saba at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Ironi Ramat Gan will play against Ironi Nes-Ziona (#3) in Nes Ziyona and hope to win that game.
