Regular Season Round 10: Cambados - Gandia 76-70

Not a big story in a game when 13th ranked Gandia (3-7) was defeated on the road by fifth ranked Cambados (6-4) 76-70 on Saturday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. The hosts trailed by 3 points after three quarters before their 25-16 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Congolese forward Charles Nkaloulou (199-94) had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Georgian center Shota Gelazonia (205-94) chipped in 14 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Five Cambados players scored in double figures. At the losing side Montenegrin forward Vladimir Tomasevic (201-92) responded with 12 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Kevin Navarro (178-92) scored 13 points and 4 assists. Gandia's coach Victor Rubio let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Cambados maintains fifth position with 6-4 record, which they share with Zornotza. Newly promoted Gandia dropped to the fourteenth place with seven games lost. Cambados will face CB Tarragona 2017 (#10) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Gandia will play against Agustinos-Leclerc (#12) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
