An interesting game for Kumamoto V. (16-2) which played road game in Matsuyama against 4th ranked Orange Vikings (6-12). First ranked Kumamoto V. had an easy win 94-51. The game without a history. Kumamoto V. led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Orange Vikings to just 7 points in third quarter. They outrebounded Orange Vikings 47-29 including a 36-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Kumamoto V. looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. It was a good game for guard Yuji Kanbara (183-89) who led his team to a victory with 23 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals. American forward Reginald Warren (204-81, college: W.Florida) contributed with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Four Kumamoto V. players scored in double figures. Kumamoto V.'s coach felt very confident that he used 10 players saving starting five for next games. American center Joshua Crawford (211-88, college: Indiana St.) replied with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds and guard Toshino Tatsuhiko (185-88) added 10 points and 4 assists in the effort for Orange Vikings. Kumamoto V. have an impressive 13-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 16-2 record. Orange Vikings lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with 12 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
