Very predictable result in Katowice where second ranked AZS AWF Mick. (10-1) smashed 12th ranked Wisla Krakow (2-9) 93-63 on Saturday. They outrebounded Wisla Krakow 44-29 including a 29-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. AZS AWF Mick. looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Lukasz Szczypka (185-80) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 4 assists and Mariusz Piotrkowski (198-84) who added 15 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was power forward Michal Ejiofor (197-91) with 13 points and 8 rebounds and forward Jakub Wojciechowski (197-93) scored 13 points. Four Wisla Krakow players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
