There was a surprise result when ninth ranked Angers BC (7-6) beat on the road higher ranked Vitre (7-6) 61-56 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 6 points after three quarters before their 20-9 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Center Jeremie Douillet (205-91) stepped up and scored 18 points and 7 rebounds for the winners and point guard Hugo Suhard (184-92) chipped in 12 points and 6 assists. At the losing side Desmond Quincy-Jones (201-85, college: Pace) responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 14 rebounds and point guard Yann Siegwarth (180-93) scored 11 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists.
