Regular Season Round 10: Baskonia - Iberostar Tener. 72-73

Important game to mention about took place in Vitoria. Third ranked CB Canarias (8-2) saved a 1-point victory on the road edging 5th ranked Baskonia (6-4) 73-72 on Sunday evening. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 18-15. But Baskonia won second period 15-14. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Javier Beiran (200-87) who helped to win the game recording 10 points and 9 rebounds. American point guard Davin White (185-81, college: CS Northridge) contributed with 17 points and 4 assists for the winners. CB Canarias' coach Jesus Vidorreta used entire bench in such tough game. American point guard Shane Larkin (180-92, college: Miami, FL) replied with 23 points and Italian power forward Andrea Bargnani (213-85) added 13 points in the effort for Baskonia. Four Baskonia players scored in double figures. CB Canarias moved-up to second place. Baskonia at the other side dropped to the eighth position with four games lost. CB Canarias will play against CAI Zaragoza (#11) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Baskonia will play against Sevilla and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
