Regular Season Round 11: SISU - Bakken 89-95

Date: November 27, 2016
The game in Copenhagen was also worth to mention about. Second ranked Bakken (8-1) played at the court of 7th ranked SISU (3-7). Bakken managed to secure a 6-point victory 95-89. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But SISU won third quarter 30-23. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was an exceptional evening for American-Trinidad and Tobago guard Devaughn Akoon-Purcell (196-93, college: Illinois St.) who led the winners and scored 20 points and 5 assists. The former international power forward Nicolai Iversen (205-80, college: San Jose CC) accounted for 16 points and 5 assists for the winning side. Five Bakken players scored in double figures. Bakken's coach Jakob Freil allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American Kyle Dranginis (195-92, college: Gonzaga) came up with a triple-double by scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds and 12 assists and the former international guard Anders Haas (185-92, college: Barry) added 25 points respectively for SISU in the defeat. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Bakken. They maintain second place with 8-1 record behind leader Horsens IC. SISU at the other side dropped to the sixth position with seven games lost. Bakken's next round opponent will be Svendborg (#4) on the road. SISU will play against Randers and hope to win that game.
