No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Hapoel Tel-Aviv (5-3) defeated on the road 9th ranked Ironi Nahariya (3-5) 86-77 on Sunday. The guests trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 13-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 86-77. Hapoel Tel-Aviv looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of naturalized American Richard Howell (203-90, college: N.Carolina St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds and American swingman Alando Tucker (198-84, college: Wisconsin) who added 19 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. American power forward Yancy Gates (206-89, college: Cincinnati) responded with 17 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and his fellow American import point guard Derwin Kitchen (194-86, college: Florida St.) scored 10 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals. Five Hapoel Tel-Aviv and four Ironi Nahariya players scored in double figures. Ironi Nahariya's coach Eric Elfasi rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Hapoel Tel-Aviv moved-up to second place, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Ironi Nahariya dropped to the seventh position with five games lost. They share it with 4 other teams.
