A very interesting game took place in Murcia. It ended with only two-point home defeat of 14th ranked UCAM Murcia (3-7) to sixteenth ranked Blusens Monbus (3-7) 76-74 in the fight for the thirteenth place. The guests were ahead by 4 points but lost the second period ending it with a 6-point deficit before their 23-15 run, which allowed them to win the game. Lithuanian forward Eimantas Bendzius (204-90) notched 18 points and 5 rebounds to lead the effort and Hungarian forward Rosco Allen (207-93, college: Stanford, agency: Pensack Sports) supported him with 8 points and 8 rebounds. Even 25 points by Brazilian Vitor Benite (194-90, agency: Interperformances) did not help to save the game for UCAM Murcia. Argentinian point guard Facundo Campazzo (181-91) added 11 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Blusens Monbus moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated UCAM Murcia. Blusens Monbus' next round opponent will be Joventut (#16) in Badalona.
