Regular Season Round 4: Nymburk - Nantes 66-54

The game had a very big importance for third-ranked Czech Basketball Nymburk. Basketball Nymburk defeated their biggest opponent French Nantes Reze at home 66-54. The game was mostly controlled by Basketball Nymburk. Nantes Reze managed to win fourth quarter 28-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Nantes Reze to just 6 points in second quarter. They outrebounded Nantes Reze 41-30 including 30 on the defensive glass. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Basketball Nymburk made 7 blocks. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Basketball Nymburk have a solid three-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Ragusa. Nantes Reze at the other side dropped to the third place with two games lost. Nantes Reze will play next round against strong Ragusa trying to get back on the winning streak. Basketball Nymburk will try to continue on its current victory against fourth ranked Belfius Namur on the road.
