There was a surprise result when fifteenth ranked Aix-Maurienne (3-5) defeated higher ranked Poitiers (3-5) in Aix-les-Bains 85-81. Poitiers was ahead by 9 points after three quarters before a 29-16 charge of Aix-Maurienne, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was Lithuanian guard Paulius Dambrauskas (192-85, agency: Players Group) who scored 14 points and 5 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line).
